Jake McGlone wins in his 1st start on the CPT by defeating Kevin Lyles on the 1st playoff hole. McGlone & Lyles had a tight battle throughout the round, where both players posted 1 under 71. McGLone was 1 under for the final 8 holes, while Lyles was 2 under for the final 4 holes to close the gap & finish in a tie. The CPT would once again like to thank Raintree Country Club for providing a challenging venue. The course proved to be a difficult test with deep rough providing a great defense.

Troy Kennedy carded 5 birdies on his way to posting a 67, to win by 6 shots on Saturday. The North Course at Raintree Country Club played tough for the rest of the field, as deep rough posed a challenge. Kevin Lyles & Cameron Cappuzzo (A) both posted 73 to tie for 2nd place. Once again we thank Raintree for providing a great venue.

Tommy Padgett has done it again, firing a 6 under 66 to win at Raintree Country Club on the South course Saturday. Tommy took advantage of the front 9 by making 6 birdies in a row, for a front nine 30 to win by 6 strokes. Raintree's Director of Golf Kris Cappuzzo carded 5 birdies in route to an even par 72 to take 2nd place. David Boyce had 4 birdies while posting 73 to take 3rd place. The CPT would like to thank Raintree CC for their continued support & our next event will be 8/4 on Raintree's North course.

Troy Kennedy posted a 73 to win in his 1st CPT event. Troy didn't let windy conditions or tough greens bother him as Carolina Lakes showed its teeth to the field. John Thompson continued his solid play to shoot 74 & take 2nd place. Catawba College's Jack Chatt (A) strung together 14 pars on his way to a 76 & 3rd place.  The CPT would like to thank Carolina Lakes for hosting the event.

Tommy Padgett collects his 4th CPT win with a 4 under 68 on the South Cource at Raintree Country Club on Saturday. Tommy carded 5 birdies to win by 6 over Dustin Thompson. Dustin takes 2nd by posting a 74 that was highlighted by a 4 under 32 on the final 9. The CPT will play again on the North Course at Raintree Country Club on 8/26.

Padgett Takes the Win!

Tommy Padgett shoots a 74 to take 1st & the $500 check. Dustin Thompson & Kevin Coulter both carded 75 to tie for 2nd. Area thunderstorms caused delays during the round, but moved out long enough for the round to be completed. 

The CPT will host it's next event at Raintree Country Club on the North Course on 7/22.​

Evans wins with 68!

Jeff Evans got off to a great start with birdies on his first three holes & then had birdie, eagle to start the back nine, which allowed him to post a 4 under par 68 & win by 4 shots. Evans was the only player shoot under par on the North Course. Clayton Portz carded an eagle & three birdies to take second, in his round of 72. Bruce McDonald took third with a 73. Once again the CPT would like to thank Raintree Country Club for providing a well maintained, challenging course.

Tommy Padgett carded 6 birdies to post a 66 & win by 8 shots on the North Course at Raintree Country Club. Steve Chatt (A) came in 2nd place with 74. Ryan Walker & Dustin Thompson both posted 75 to tie for 3rd. Once again the CPT would like to thank Raintree Country Club for provide a beautiful course.

Clifford Blanquicet Jr collects the win by posting an even par 72. Clifford made 3 birdies in a row early in the round & that run allowed him to take the victory. Dustin Thompson birdied 2 of his last 3 holes to post a 73 & take 2nd place. Kevin Currin birdied his final 2 holes to move into 3rd. The CPT would like to thank Raintree Country Club for hosting another event. The course was in great shape with heavy rough adding to the challenge.

​McLister WINS with 63!

Kevin McLister continued his forward momentum on Raintree Country Club's North Course on Saturday by posting a 9 under par 63 to win by 3 shots. McLister has been working on the right things in 2015 & has been achieving some great results. Zack Munroe came in 2nd with a 6 under 66 & is quickly showing, in his first season as a pro, that he belongs out here.

The CPT would like to thank Raintree CC for hosting another event & providing a beautiful course. Our next event is scheduled for 8/29. The first two events of 2015 have already proven that you have to go low, if you expect to win!

David Sanchez made 8 birdies to post 65 & win at Raintree Country Club - South Course by 3 shots. Josh Apple shot a 68 to take second & Zack Munroe took third place with a 69. The CPT would like to thank Raintree CC for hosting this event. The CPT will tee it up next on 8/15.

Josh Apple didn't let extremely tough, windy conditions keep him from being the only player to break par & claim his 1st victory on the CPT. Apple birdied 3 of his last 5 holes to beat a course that showed its teeth on Saturday. Reed Darsie was even for his last 11 holes, but 3 straight bogeys on 5-7 didn't allow him to catch Apple. ​

Tommy Padgett birdies the second playoff hole to take 1st place on Raintree's South Course. Stefan Brewer & David Sanchez tied for second place. The CPT will play next on 9/20-9/21.

Kevin McLister got hot in the middle of his round, carding 4 birdies & an eagle on holes 8-13. His 67 was the only under par round. Dustin Thompson posted a 74 to take 2nd place. There was a 3 way tie with 75 for 3rd including Troy Coker, David Boyce (A) & Ryan Vince (A). The CPT will play next on 8/23-8/24.

Bigley runs away with 66 to win for the 5th time on the CPT by 5 shots. Dave Boyce continues his great play by posting a 71 to come in 2nd. Dustin Thompson captures 3rd with a 73.

Travis Meyer shoots even par 72 to win on Sunday. Rice University Alumni Robert Burrow takes 2nd with a 2 over par 74. Raintree's South course made for some tough scoring on Sunday.

Dave Boyce (A) played 2 great rounds this weekend. Boyce won by 6 on Saturday by posting a 3 under par 69 & then tied for 1st on Sunday with Travis Meyer as both players shot even par 72. Meyer was the top money winner for the weekend by collect a 2 day total of $550.00.

Pickett Wins by 5!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Marshall Pickett, who came to play today at Raintree Country Club. Pickett didn't let the several down pours of rain mess with his play & carded 4 birdies & 1 eagle to post a 5 under 67. It was Marshall's first win in his second event on the CPT. Travis Meyer & Greg LaVoie both tied for second by shooting even par 72.

 

Gary Haugh(A) wins by 6 on Saturday with a 5 under par 67. Haugh was the only player to go under par. 3 players (Marshall Pickett, Travis Meyer & Pureum Lee) tied for second at 73.Special Congratulations to Pureum Lee for making a "Hole-in-One" on the par 3 8th, it was his 1st Ace & also the 1st Ace recorded in a CPT event.
