CPT 2012 Tournament Dates have been modified to start in June thru October. Courses will be posted soon!!!

Same Tournament Structure for 2012 Season

In 2012, The CPT will have 3 winners on each tournament weekend. There will be 3 Separate Purses for each tournament weekend. Players can sign up to compete for only the Saturday Purse ($140.00 entry fee), only the Sunday Purse ($140.00 entry fee) or for all three purses ($400.00 entry fee). On Saturday & Sunday there will be 1-day events for $140.00 per event. For a $400.00 entry fee, you will be competing for both 1-day purses & the combined 2-day purse. This will allow the tour to host both 1-day events & a 2-day event on each tournament weekend. We look forward to the 2012 season.

Eaves & Coulter Tie for 1st Place

Kevin Coulter & Mark Eaves

Mark Eaves & Kevin Coulter tie after 27 holes of play this weekend at Raintree Country Club. Rain & a soaked golf course made conditions quite a challenge. The first round was shorted to only 9 holes & then more rain came in late during the 2nd round. Coulter earned $600.00 this weekend & Eaves was right behind with $575.00.

The CPT would like to thank Raintree Country Club for hosting the event on late notice. The CPT is also entertaining the idea of hosting some 1 day events this fall, so keep checking this website to see where & when we'll be playing next.

Kottlowski wins 2 in a row!

Kevin Coulter & Nick Kottlowski

Nick Kottlowski makes it 2 in a row on the CPT. Nick shot 1 over par for the weekend to take home the biggest check at Raintree. Mark Kriston was right behind him at 2 over par for the weekend & Egolf's Fernando Merchereffe posted a blistering 65 to win 1st in the Sunday purse.

The CPT is canceling the event for 9/17-9/18 & will be hosting the next event at Pine Island Country Club on 9/24-9/25.

Also, if you are interested in playing some tournaments this fall, please let the tour know, by sending in a Contact Us message on this site. If there is enough interest, we'll probably schedule some events for this fall.

Kottlowski Wins at River Hills

Nick Kottlowski & Kevin Coulter

Nick Kottlowski, an employee of River Hills Country Club, played two great rounds to win in his first tournament on the CPT. Nick carded 6 birdies this weekend to post a one over par 145 & earned $862.50. Rivers Hills tight course & windy conditions on Saturday, from Hurricane Irene, made for a tough event this weekend. Congratulations Nick!!!

The CPT would like to give a special thanks to TJ Bridges & Gary Troyan for making this weekend a successful event.

The CPT will be at Raintree Country Club on September 10th & 11th.

McLister wins by 4 at Red Bridge!

Joey McLister & Kevin Coulter

Joey McLister posted 8 under par 136 for the weekend at Red Bridge to collect $1,300.00. Joey's first round 66* put him to far ahead of the field to be caught. Iain Hall posted 69 to win the day 2 purse & ended up finishing second overall with a 4 under par 140 to collect $1,050.00. Joey's brother Kevin McLister came in third with an even par 144 & took home $500.00.

*Congratulations to Joey for also setting the official course record at Red Bridge. Joey's scorecard of his 66 will be proudly displayed in the Pro Shop for others to try and challenge. This is also the first course record set during a CPT event.

The tour will go back another time to Carolina Lakes on Aug 20-21.

Munroe makes it 2 Amateur Winners in a row!!!

Adam McDonald & Zach Munroe

Zach Munroe, who will be playing next season for UNC-Chapel Hill, posted a 2 day total of 5 under par 139 to win at Raintree Country Club. This is no surprise to those who know him, since Zach is a 3 time Jr. Club Champion & 2 time Club Champion at Raintree. Munroe was too much to handle this weekend & we know his great play will continue on the collegiate level.

Adam McDonald & Gary Haugh both earned $700 each for their play this weekend. The tour's next stop is at Red Bridge Golf & Country Club on July 30-31.

Stefan Brewer (A)

Mark Kriston & Mike Tulacz

Stefan Brewer, who plays golf for UNC-Wilmington, is the 1st amateur to win on the CPT. Brewer posted 3 under par this weekend at Carolina Lakes to take 1st place by 3 strokes. Stefan had 1 eagle & 4 birdies and posted a final round 67.

Congratulations Stefan!!!!

1st place pro money came down to a tie at even par between Mark Kriston & Mike Tulacz. Kriston & Tulacz had to stop there playoff due to weather, but it was an amazing playoff. The 2 golfers ended up playing the entire front 9 & matched each other on every hole to both post 4 under 32. After weather stopped play, they both decided to split the money. Kriston ended up the biggest money winner & took home $912.50. Tulacz's final round 67 allowed him to earn $812.50.

The CPT would like to thank Todd Burrell & the staff at Carolina Lakes for hosting another great event!

Kevin Coulter & Gary Haugh

Gary Haugh wins again on the CPT. Haugh birdied the 18th hole to collect his second win on the Tour. Drew Perry end up second in the overall standings. Haugh & Perry both collected funds from each of the new 3 purse structure. John Luddy, Mike Tulacz & Kevin Coulter were also able to collect checks this weekend.

The tour will host it's next event on June 11-12. The course for this event will be posted soon!
